I went to I.U. Bloomington for undergrad (class of 2002, B.S. Biochemistry/business minor) then moved to NY for grad school in the basic medical sciences. I have a PhD in Experimental Pathology and was involved in NIH funded genetics research on hypertension. I relocated to the White Mountains of New Hampshire in July 2008, where we bought a house in 2011. I got married in June 2014 but kept my name. I have been a writing consultant for biotech firms and postdocs since 2008 and my main work currently is editing literature reviews, dissertations, and scientific manuscripts by nonnative English speakers aiming to publish in peer-reviewed journals. I taught graduate school courses while in NY and would love to get back into lecturing.
