Well, with the 10 year reunion close at hand, I thought it was time for an update.... Summary: Married Cortney (Fryback), 5/22/1999 Bachelors, Electrical Engineering, Purdue, 1999 Masters, Electrical Engineering, Georgia Tech, 2002 Worked as Audio Engineer Dell Computer; Austin, TX; 1999-2000 Started working at startup: Alchemy Semiconductor in 2000. I think that is where my last entry ended, so I'll start from there. Unlike a lot of start-ups that went out of business, Alchemy was instead bought by AMD. I now work in the embedded processor division of AMD designing parts of microprocessors in Austin, TX. Cortney and I just celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary last month, but the really exciting news is that Cortney gave birth to our first child on 2/2/2004. We named her Ella Grace Swartzendruber. At 4 months, she is doing absolutely wonderful. It is great to be a Dad. With Ella's three siblings, Farley (cat), Molly (beagle), and Riley (lab/shephard mix) we have a pretty full house. Lately, I have been doing a lot of mountain biking. I even raced last spring and did pretty well. Other than that, work and family keep me pretty busy. Unfortunately, Cortney and I can't make the reunion. We will be in Syracuse, visiting family, the week prior to the reunion though. Maybe we will see some of you out at the Frog or around town. Drop me some email.
